General Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking or purchasing. By making a booking, redeeming a voucher, or participating in an experience, you agree to the terms below.

These Terms apply to FlyTribe AB, operating at Hyllie Boulevard 8, 215 32 Malmö, Sweden, and to all bookings made via flytribe.se, booking.flytribe.se, third-party partners, or on-site.

1. Safety & Participation Requirements

Safety is our highest priority.

Before flying, all participants must:

  • Arrive at least 45 minutes before their scheduled flight time
  • Complete a mandatory safety briefing
  • Wear all required safety equipment (provided by FlyTribe)
  • Follow all instructor instructions at all times
  • Sign a Release of Liability (Waiver); participants under 18 require parent or guardian consent

You may fly only if you:

  • Weigh less than 120 kg, or can be safely fitted into the available equipment
  • Are 5 years or older and can be fitted with an available helmet
  • Are not pregnant
  • Have no history of shoulder dislocations
  • Are not under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that may impair your ability to participate safely

Assumption of risk: Indoor skydiving involves inherent physical risks, including loss of balance, impact with surfaces, and injury. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

Right to refuse or terminate: FlyTribe reserves the right to deny participation if safety requirements are not met, and to end a session without refund if a participant fails to follow instructions or compromises safety.

We welcome participants with disabilities. Please contact us in advance so we can ensure appropriate accommodations.

2. Booking, Arrival & Flight Time

  • Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation email
  • Late arrivals may result in reduced or forfeited flight time — please plan accordingly
  • Flight time per booking is as stated in the relevant package; individual flights are typically approximately 90 seconds unless otherwise specified
  • Actual flight durations may vary based on package type and operational conditions

3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

First-Time Flyers (Consumers)

  • Rescheduling: Free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time
  • Late cancellation (less than 24 hours) or no-show: The flight is forfeited
  • FlyTribe may, at its discretion, offer rescheduling in exceptional circumstances

Sport Flyers, Pro Flyers & Camps

Cancellations must be made with the following minimum notice:

  • Late cancellations incur a fee of 25% of the cancelled value
  • Up to 10% of booked hours per camp may be cancelled after the deadline without fee

Medical Exceptions

If you are unable to attend due to documented illness or injury:

  • A valid medical certificate is required
  • Cancellation fees may be waived at FlyTribe’s discretion
  • Any value due will be issued as credit, not as a cash refund

4. Payment Terms

Consumers: Payment is due at the time of booking.

Sport Flyers & Camps

  • A deposit of 15% may be required at the time of booking
  • The remaining balance is due no later than one week before the booking date

Business (B2B)

  • An invoice will be issued one month before the event
  • Payment is due 14 days before the event date

Failure to pay by the applicable deadline may result in cancellation of the booking.

5. Gift Cards & Vouchers

  • Validity: 12 months from date of issue, unless otherwise stated
  • Redemption: Must be booked online in advance — vouchers cannot be redeemed at the door without a prior booking. Please have your voucher code (digital or printed) available on the day of your flight
  • Transferability: Vouchers may be used by a person other than the original purchaser
  • Expiration: Expired vouchers cannot normally be redeemed; extensions may be offered at FlyTribe’s discretion, or where required by applicable law

FlyTribe is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unused vouchers.

6. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

Under Swedish law (Lag om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler, SFS 2005:59), consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. To exercise this right, contact us at info@flytribe.se.

  • If the service has not yet commenced: you are entitled to a full refund
  • If the service has been partially delivered: you pay only for the portion already provided
  • If the service has been fully delivered: no refund applies

Important: By booking a specific time slot that falls within the 14-day withdrawal period, you may be asked to expressly waive your right of withdrawal in order to confirm the booking. Where you do so, no right of withdrawal applies to that booking.

7. Photos & Video

First-Time Flyers

  • Media quality cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of flight activity
  • In the event of technical failure, any refund is limited to the cost of the media purchase only
  • Purchased media is available for download for 30 days from the date of purchase
  • FlyTribe will only use your identifiable media for marketing purposes with your explicit consent

Sport Flyers & Pro Flyers

  • Raw video footage is retained for 30 days, during which it can be downloaded
  • FlyTribe retains ownership of footage and reserves the right to use it for marketing, social media, and internal coaching purposes, unless you explicitly opt out
  • To opt out, notify us in writing at info@flytribe.se before or at the time of your session

General

  • Media is licensed for personal use only
  • Commercial use of any FlyTribe-produced media requires prior written consent

8. Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR)

FlyTribe processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the GDPR.

Data we collect includes: name, contact details, and safety-relevant information such as age and weight.

We may share data with: booking and operations platforms (including ISS for tunnel management), and payment providers (e.g., Klarna, Swish).

Your rights include: the right to access your data, request correction or deletion, and withdraw consent where applicable.

9. Force Majeure

FlyTribe is not liable for failure or delay in delivering services caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to technical failures, power outages, natural disasters, government restrictions, or labour disputes. In such cases, affected customers will be offered rescheduling or credit.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Participation is at your own risk
  • FlyTribe is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from participation or from any failure to deliver services
  • FlyTribe’s liability is in any event limited to the value of the purchased service

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection legislation.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden.

If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us directly in the first instance. Consumers may also contact Konsumentverket (the Swedish Consumer Authority) or bring a claim before Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN). EU-based consumers may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
